"Darcy Cooke...is a very appealing and swinging jazz singer. She has a warm and inviting voice, youthful enthusiasm, a mature delivery, and a full understanding of the lyrics that she interprets. Careless Love may be her debut recording as a leader but she already has a fully formed style....Careless Love finds Darcy Cooke already in her prime, displaying versatility and a beautiful voice. This is a release well worth getting by anyone who enjoys first-class jazz singing."

ARTIST INFO
Jazz Lover
Darcy Cooke is a classically trained jazz vocalist known for her warm, expressive voice and engaging stage presence. Praised by jazz journalist Scott Yanow as a “swinging jazz singer…displaying versatility and a beautiful voice,” Darcy moves easily from sultry ballads and soulful blues to classic jazz standards, Broadway favorites, and pop.
Her love of jazz and background in theater have made Darcy a natural storyteller with a particular gift for song interpretation. Her performances are rooted in the lyrics and the stories they tell. With warmth, humor, and an instinctive connection to both the music and her audience, Darcy brings each song to life in a way that feels personal, engaging, and entirely her own.
Darcy's current album, "Careless Love", is available on all major streaming platforms.
